Host Orissa got off to a winning start in the National Youth and Sub-junior Power-20 Cricket Championship, which commenced at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar today.
Local Parliament Member Dr Prasanna Kumar Patasani inaugurated the four-day championships, which are being organised by Orissa Power-20 Cricket Association.
Results: Youth: Tamil Nadu bt Kerala 127-65 runs, Goa bt Bengal 130-120, Orissa bt Pondicherry 165-75.
Sub-junior: Orissa bt Gujarat 91-62, Tamil Nadu bt Chhatishgarh 101-72, Baroda bt Karnataka 76-75, Bihar bt Madhya Bharat 92-80.
